Details | [Ueno Mountain Culture Zone Festival Lecture Series No.16] This is a related course of the special exhibition “Early Japan and Foreign Culture” (November 19th to December 25th) in the special room of the Tokyo National Museum Main Building. This museum holds Christian artifacts and large European-made wall maps obtained by the Edo Shogunate. In the Edo period when contact with foreign countries was limited, we will show you items from the West that would have attracted people's longing and curiosity. |
