VenueAsakusa Flower Theater (2-28-1 Asakusa, Taito-ku, Asakusa Hanayashiki)
DetailsAsakusa Hanayashiki was opened to the public in 1852 (Kaei 5) and was officially named “Hana Yashiki” the following year. At first it was a facility where you can enjoy a meal while watching the seasonal flowers, and walk around the hills and springs. In this lecture, we will trace the history of Hanayashiki, which has become an Edo landmark, bearing the important task of revitalizing the neighborhood of Sensoji Temple.
