| Details | The first in a series of projects to discover promising young artists! We've selected Ame, who is currently creating art energetically at Tokyo University of the Arts. Yet the world keeps changing. Our memories shift day by day. In the midst of these waves of change, which sometimes even evoke feelings of loneliness, is it possible to keep something unchanging hidden within ourselves? Through her work, she has expressed the desire for us to look not at what is important to perceive with our eyes, but at the way the world appears only when we close our eyes. The light that one person can shine in a corner of this planet may be faint. Nevertheless, I believe that the light in our hearts resonates with each other, connecting us like the constellations. Shining faintly on this snowy day, I hope that this will be one of the stars that shines for you. In this exhibition, along with Ame's latest work, we will visualize human connections through a series of works with introspective themes, and present them with the light of the stars as our theme. |
