Introduction	It is an institution for honoring that commemorates artists who have made remarkable contributions to the artistic world, which contributes to the development of art. They also deliberate on important matters about art and suggest them to the Education Minister or the Minister of Culture. It holds art exhibitions about three times a year and lectures by members of the Japan Art Institution.
