IntroductionIt is a building that was used as a studio and residence of Asakura Fumio(1883-1964), a sculptor representing modern Japan. Currently, it is used as an art museum that displays collections mainly about Asakura's works. The main building is registered as a national cultural property, and the entire site is designated as a national scenic spot.
